Blade Wrench Storage
(Fig. 33)
When not in use, store the Blade Wrench 28 in the
Blade Wrench Bracket 68 provided on the front
right side of the saw, behind the front right foot.
To store the Blade Wrench:
1. Line up the straight/flat end of the Blade
Wrench 28 with the bracket opening.
2. Insert the Blade Wrench 28, and push until it
clips into the Blade Wrench Bracket 68.

Transporting the Saw
(Fig. 1, Fig. 34)
To prevent personal injury, al-
ways disconnect plug from
power source before performing any assembly,
adjustment, or repair.
For transporting, the saw includes two Cast-In Car-
ry Handles 33 at each side of the Table 13. ONLY
LIFT THIS SAW BY THE CAST-IN CARRY HANDLES
33. DO NOT ATTEMPT ONE-HANDED CARRY.
1. Unplug and wrap the Power Cord 16 around
the Cord Wrap 15.
2. Make sure that the Miter Gauge 14, Rip Fence
9, and Smart Guard System 11 components are
in their storage positions. See "Miter Gauge
Storage" on page 25, "Rip Fence Storage" on
page 25 and "Smart Guard System Storage"
on page 26.
3. Make sure that the Rail Lock Lever 6 is in the
locked position.
4. Adjust the Riving Knife 25 to its middle or lower
position. See "Riving Knife (Splitter)" on page
40.
5. Lower the Blade 31 as far as it will go by turn-
ing the Elevation Wheel 2 counterclockwise.
6. With the saw sitting right side up, grip the Cast-
In Carry Handles 33 molded into either side of
the Table 13.
7. Lift the saw off the surface.
