Adjusting the Table Insert
(Fig. 48)
The Table Insert 12 includes four Adjustment
Screws 83 to set the height of the insert.
1. Place the Table Insert 12 into the receptacle in
the top of the Table 13, and lock it in place. See
"Installing the Table Insert" on page 17.
2. Place a straight edge, such as the metal ruler
from a combination square, across the top of
the Table 13 and the Table Insert 12.
3. If the surface of the Table Insert 12 is not at
the same level as the top of the Table 13, use a
small slotted screwdriver to turn each Table In-
sert Adjustment Screw 83 until the Table Insert
12 is at the same level as the Table 13.

Adjusting 0° and 45° Positive Stops
Your saw is equipped with positive stops for fast
and ac curate positioning of the saw Blade 31 at 90°
and 45° to the Table 13.
Adjusting 0° Positive Stop
(Fig. 49, Fig. 50, Fig. 51)
1. Turn the Elevation Wheel 2 clockwise and raise
the Blade 31 to maxi mum height.
2. Loosen the Blade Bevel Lock Handle 3 by turn-
ing it counterclockwise.
3. Push the Elevation Wheel 2 to the left as far
as possible. Then tighten the Blade Bevel Lock
Handle 3 by turning it clockwise.
