Technical Assistance
Your sliding miter should only be serviced by the manufacturer's
internal service personnel, or other qualified personnel,
replacing any necessary parts with original parts.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Rear support bar
1. Insert the rear support bar into the holes;
2. Tighten the bolts.
Clamping the sliding miter saw to a workbench
1. Place the sliding miter saw on a level workbench;
2. Secure the base by tightening the bolts, washers and nuts in
the mounting holes.
Side extension wings
1. Insert the side extension wings (17) into the holes;
2. Tighten the bolts.
Clamp
1. Insert the support pin into the hole and tighten the bolt;
2. Insert the clamp (10) in the support pin and tighten the fixing
bolt.
The clamp can be mounted at both ends of the fence (1).
Dust and shavings collection bag
1. Lift the dust and shavings outlet cover;
2. Press the retaining spring and place the collection bag (4) on
the dust and shavings duct;
3. Release the spring and check that the collection bag is
correctly fitted.
Empty the dust bag frequently to prevent the duct from
being clogged.
You can use a vacuum cleaner to collect dust and
shavings produced. To do this you should use a hose with
a diameter of 35mm.
Changing the blade
1. Raise the cutting head to an upright position. Pull out the
head lock-down pin (21);
2. Press the blade guard locking lever (18);
3. Rotate the blade guard (9) upwards and loosen the screw;
4. Press the spindle lock button (20) and rotate the blade until
it locks in place. Continue to press the spindle lock button
and loosen the screw with the supplied key;
5. Remove the flange and the used saw blade (8);
6. Install the new blade on the inner flange and then the outer
flange. Make sure the blade is correctly fitted;
7. Tighten the screw to the spindle thread;
8. Press the spindle lock button and rotate the blade until it is
locked. Continue to press the spindle lock button and loosen
the screw with the supplied key;
9. Tighten the blade guard fixing screw (9);
10. Test the saw blade rotation, at maximum speed, to ensure
its correct installation.
Always wear protective gloves when handling and
installing saw blades.
