1.4 Warnings in this document
Warnings warn about dangers that can occur
when handling the power tool. They come in
four danger levels that can be distinguished
by the signal word:
Signal word Meaning
DANGER
Indicates a danger with high
risk, which can cause death
or severe injuries if it is not
avoided.
WARNING
Indicates a danger with
medium risk, which can
cause severe injuries if it is
not avoided.
CAUTON
Indicates a danger with low
risk, which can cause minor
or moderate injuries if it is not
avoided.
ATTENTION Indicates a danger that can
cause property damage.
1.5 Proper use
TRUMPF shears are hand-guided power
tools for the following applications:
– Slitting and trimming plate-shaped work-
pieces made of steel, aluminum, plastic,
etc.
– Slitting straight or curved outer edges
and interior cut-outs
– Slitting after marking
