5 Troubleshooting
Problem
Tool is sluggish.
Rough cutting edges
Tool does not switch
on.
5.1 Replace carbon brushes
If the carbon brushes are worn, the
motor stops.
Have carbon brushes checked by a tech-

nician and replaced.
Cause
Blades are dull.
Cutting clearance is
set incorrectly.
Height of the moving
cutter blade is set in-
correctly.
Rechargeable battery
is empty or defective.
Power cable is defec-
tive.
Carbon brushes are
worn.
Motor is overheated.
