Installer's first start-up report
INSTALLATION CHECK LIST AND POSITIONING OF THE UNIT.
Fixing the unit to the ceiling and the false ceiling have been made to avoid vibrations.
The inspectability of the unit on all sides is guaranteed.
The spaces useful for the maintenance and cleaning of the filters have been respected.
The unit has been installed inside, in an appropriate disengagement where there will be a central air intake. In case the
MDF panels are not used, cod. OCTMDF5 and OCTMDF10, the correct air passage and the accessibility to the filters are
guaranteed.
Specific grilles or slots have been provided on the doors and walls so that the rooms are not watertight.
All the filters in the unit have been checked and positioned.
AERAULIC SYSTEM CHECK LIST.
The length of the air distribution pipes is always less than 6 meters
If the length is more than 6m, indicate it in the cell on the right and indicate in brackets the possible number of circular
flanges plugged into the fancoil discharge plenum.
For example, the indication "10 (1)" means that the longest pipe is 10m and that an outlet has been closed in the
fancoil plenum, so 4 pipes of the 5 possible have been connected.
The length of the air distribution pipes of the VMC is always less than 6 meters.
The air tubes are crushed at some points.
The correct air flow has been checked in all supply / return grids / nozzles.
Checks have been made to exclude that some pipes may or may be detached / obstructed in the time.
The fins of the outlet grilles have been opened and adjusted in order to have the correct airflow at different speeds.
The correct air flow has been checked in both suction and expulsion dirty air grilles and in the fresh air inlet from the
outside, if necessary also acting on the dip switches of the electronic board.
OCTRP1 (single diffusion grids + plenum for 1 OCTAD125 tube) are always directly connected to a circular fancoil
connection.
OCTRP2 (Double diffusion grids + plenum for 2 OCTAD125 tubes) are always directly connected to two separate
circular fancoil connections.
HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CHECK LIST.
At least one automatic air vent at the highest point of the water circuit at the unit has been provided.
The water circuit has been correctly loaded.
The coil of the units have been correctly vented.
Checks were made on the absence of leaks on the valves, on the unit and on the connecting pipes from the cabinet
module or from the tank.
The pipes are at least ¾ ".
The unit has been correctly positioned, with the correct slope to allow the condensation to the drain.
The condensate drain pipes (also the vitreous one of the recuperator module) have been correctly positioned, giving
the correct slope and the absence of any impediments to the discharge has been checked.
The correct draining of the condensate has been verified, eventually going to put water in the main drain pan.
Check if the air pipes have been plugged during installation to prevent the entry of dirt and foreign bodies
ELECTRIC WIRING CONNECTION CHECK LIST.
The unit is electrically connected.
The power supply conforms to the nameplate data.
The unit has been powered and the thermostats turn on.
The 3 fan speeds have been checked and the valve is correctly opened by operating the thermostats.
Wires of section of at least 1.5 mmq have been used to power supply the unit.
Wires of section of at least 0.75 mmq have been used between the thermostats and the unit.
Dedicated line switches have been provided for the unit and suitable magnetothermics.
Grounding of the whole unit is guaranteed.
FINAL CHECK LIST.
The system was started up and simulations were made in summer and winter, by switching on the heat pump or the
outdoor unit and checking the supply air temperature in the various rooms
