Basic operation
Turning the unit on

Turn on the connected input source devices.

Press the INPUT knob until the power indicator
lights to turn the unit on.
o When using this unit as a preamp, turn on the power ampli-
fier last.
o The remote control ON button can also be used to turn on
the unit.

Turn the INPUT knob to select an input source.

Press the OUTPUT button to select the con-
nector type used to output analog audio
(page 20).

Play the source, and then adjust the volume by
turning the VOLUME knob.
Sudden loud noises might cause hearing damage

and other trouble. Always minimize the volume
before starting playback, and adjust it to an
appropriate level after playback begins.
