Notes about the protection circuits
This unit has a DC voltage protection circuit, an overcurrent protec-
tion circuit and an overheating protection circuit built-in.
o If the DC voltage protection circuit is activated, the unit will imme-
diately enter standby.
When the overcurrent protection circuit or the overheating protec-
tion circuit is operating, the power indicator blinks and one of the
following error messages blinks on the display.
Overload!
The overcurrent protection circuit is active.
If this error continues for 30 seconds or more, the unit will enter
standby.
Since a short could be occurring with a speaker cable + and −, put
the unit into standby and check the speaker connections.
Over TEMP!
The overheating protection circuit is active.
If this error continues for 30 seconds or more, the unit will enter
standby.
Since the internal temperature has become high, put the unit in
standby and wait a while for the temperature to decrease. You can
also change the installation conditions to improve ventilation.
o The overheating protection circuit could be activated again if
the power button is used while the internal temperature is still
high.
If a protection circuit activates again even after the cause of its activa-
tion has been resolved, there could be an issue inside the unit, for
example.
Disconnect the power cord from the outlet and contact the store
where you purchased the unit.
