Option
Description
Name
Changes the name that corresponds to the sensor on the top of the measurement screen.
The name is limited to 16 characters in any combination of letters, numbers, spaces or
punctuation.
Sensor S/N
Lets the user enter the serial number of the sensor. The serial number is limited to
16 characters in any combination of letters, numbers, spaces or punctuation.
Measurement type
Changes the measured parameter to Conductivity (default), TDS (total dissolved solids),
Salinity or Resistivity. When the parameter is changed, all other configured settings are
reset to the default values.
Format
Changes the number of decimal places that are shown on the measurement screen to
Auto (default), X.XXX, XX.XX, XXX.X or XXXX. When Auto is selected, the decimal places
automatically change.
Unit
Changes the units for the selected measurement—conductivity: μS/cm (default), mS/cm,
μS/m, mS/m or S/m; resistivity: Ωcm, Ωm (default), MΩ (default), kΩcm, kΩm, MΩcm or
MΩm; TDS: ppm (default) or ppb; salinity:
Temperature
Sets the temperature units to °C (default) or °F.
T-compensation
Adds a temperature-dependent correction to the measured value.
• None—No temperature compensation
• USP—Set the alarm level for the standard USP definition table.
• Ultrapure water—Set the compensation type according to the sample characteristics.
• User—Select an option:
• Natural water
Note: The Ultrapure water and Natural water options are not available when the Measurement type
setting is set to TDS.

• Built in linear—Use the pre-defined linear table (slope defined as 2.0%/°C,
reference temperature as 25 °C)
• Linear—Set the slope and reference temperature parameters if different from the
built-in parameters.
• Temperature compensation table—Set the temperature and multiplication factor
points.
