Please note that the upholstery will heat up if directly exposed to sun-
light and may cause injuries to your skin when touched. You should
therefore cover these parts or protect the scooter from exposure to
direct sunlight.

The seat materials comply with the flammability resistance require-
ments of ISO 8191-2. Nevertheless, you should exercise the necessary
caution if you are smoking and refrain from putting any cigarettes
down on the scooter.

Reporting incidents:
If you, as the operator, user or their relatives, detect possible
defects or functional limitations, please contact an authorised dealer im-
mediately. Operators, users or their relatives should inform the dealer
who supplied the dealer who provided you with the product of any sus-
pected serious incidents which directly or indirectly have had or could
have one of the following and by which they are affected. You can also
report this to the competent higher federal authority report
the death of a patient, user or other person,
•
the death of a patient, user or other person,
•
the temporary or permanent serious deterioration of the healtht, of
the state of health of a patient, user or other persons,
•
a serious risk to public health.
2.2. Information on EMC
interference
Despite compliance with all applicable EMC directives and standards, it
is possible that the scooter may affect or be affected by other electrical
devices (e.g. mobile phones, alarm systems in department stores).
If you become aware of any such interference, either turn off the other
device or turn off your scooter and move it outside the range of the in-
terference.

2.3. Safety in vehicles
The Centuro S2 is not suitable for use as a car seat. Under no circum-
stances may it be used as such. It does not meet the requirements stipu-
lated by ISO 7176-19. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to ex-
tremely serious or fatal injuries in the event of an accident.
Your scooter is suitable for use on the designated buses in the public
transport network (ÖPNV). Please note that the total weight of 300 kg
must not be exceeded. The maximum total length of 1200 mm must also
not be exceeded by attachments or similar items. Further information on
this can be found in Section 4.8
2.4. Use on Public Roads
The scooter is designed for outdoor use. Please keep in mind that you are
using public roads and therefore have to observe all road traffic regula-
tions.
Do not endanger other road users through inconsiderate driving, espe-
cially on walkways.
2.4.1.
Taking on public transport
According to a decree from 2017, your scooter is suitable to be taken
on public transport (ÖPNV) and is authorised to bear the corresponding
sticker (Fig. B). Please note that the total weight of 300 kg must not be
exceeded. The maximum total length of 1200 mm must also not be ex-
ceeded by attachments or similar items.
To take your scooter onto a bus, you will need to navigate a ramp in
reverse. This takes a certain degree of skill. Practise reversing in a safe
environment before your first bus journey.
Not all buses are suitable for electric scooters; please check with the local
transport provider in advance.
