Root cause
Pressure values might have been exceeded
once or regularly.
Shut-off valve is not opened completely
Pressure is adjusted
Exceptionally high particle load in raw water
Stagnation effect after minutes of non-usage
Membrane exhausted
Water demand and filtrate production times
too short to realize constant salt retention
Root cause cannot be identified on site
Reverse osmosis, activated carbon filtration

Measures service technician
Restart the RO system and check, if inlet and
pump pressure are within specification. Adjust
pump pressure if necessary.
Fully open shut-off valve
Check pressure reducer, if it is still in specification.
Install a commercial sediment filter with an
adequate flowrate upfront.
View conductivity development during filtrate
production for minimum 1 minute, value should
decrease significantly. If not, membrane might be
exhausted
Exchange membranes
Install a storage tank from the accessory portfolio
to buffer filtrate and increase filtrate production
volumes.
