Changing the engine oil
Waste oils and fuel are toxic and must not be released into the environment!
Contact your local authorities for information on proper disposal.
Drain the used engine oil while it is still warm from operating the machine (drains easier).

Air filter
NOTE:
Never operate the machine without or a not maintained air filter!

• Remove the engine oil drain plug with the sealing washer (1)
and the dipstick (2).
• Tilt the machine and drain the old oil into a suitable con-
tainer.
• Then refit the engine oil drain plug and sealing washer (1).
• Refill new engine oil to the lower edge of the oil filler neck
and check the engine oil level with the dipstick (2) (regarding
engine oil type and oil tank capacity see technical data).
• If the oil level is correct, reinsert the dipstick (2).
• Remove oil residues with a cloth.
• Loosen the closure (1), remove the cover (1) of the air filter.
• Take out the air filter (2).
• Clean the air filter (2) with soapy water, then rinse with clear
water and let it dry thoroughly before reassembling.
• Reinsert the air filter.
• Put the cover (1) back on.
• Attach the closure (1).
• Remove the spark plug cap (1).
• Loosen the spark plug using the spark plug spanner (2).

• Visually inspect the spark plug and remove carbon deposits
with a copper wire brush.
• Check electrode gap. This should be between 0,7 -0,8mm.
• The gasket ring (3) should be in a good condition.
• If necessary, change the spark plug.
• Screw in the spark plug the first few turns by hand.
• If it is tight, tighten the spark plug with the spark plug span-
ner for ½ turn.
• Refit spark plug cap (1).
