Unscrew the stove from the cartridge and replace the

Reassemble stove as in section 3.
7. TESTING GAS CARTRIDGES
The PRIMUS Duo Stove works best with PRIMUS
PowerGas LP gas cartridges (Propane/Isobutane/
Butane mix) 2202, 2206 and 2207. If you use any
cartridges other than PRIMUS PowerGas, always
perform an assembly and leak test before use.
ASSEMBLY TEST
7.1
Follow the instructions for assembling the stove
7.2
Ensure the fastener (4) grips the cartridge flanges
(5). DO NOT USE the gas cartridge if it is not a
proper fit.
7.3
Carefully connect the valve to the gas cartridge.
Tighten until the valve O-ring meets the gas
cartridge. Hand tighten only.
LEAK TEST
7.4
Ensure stove is properly screwed onto cartridge
(handtight).
7.5
Check that the connection is sealed. Always check
for leaks outdoors. Never use an open flame to
check for leaks. Use soapy water or similar. In
soapy water, the leak will show as small bubbles at
the leakage point. If you are in any doubt, or can
hear a leak or smell gas, never light the appliance.
If it is still leaking, the gas cartridge is not
compatible with the PRIMUS Duo Stove. Remove
this gas cartridge and replace with a PRIMUS
PowerGas LP gas cartridges, 2202, 2206 or 2207.
8. MAINTENANCE (Fig.4)
8.1
If the gas pressure drops for some reason or if you
cannot ignite the gas, check that there is gas in
the cartridge (3). If there is, check whether the jet
nipple (10) is blocked.
8.2
Cleaning the jet nipple. Fully turn off the control
knob (2) and unscrew the cartridge (3).
8.3
Unscrew burner (6).
8.4
Unscrew jet nipple (10) with a 6 mm spanner or
the
Primus 720610 jet nipple tool. (Fig 4)
8.5
Clean out the jet nipple by blowing through the tiny
hole at the front. Do not use a needle or pin etc. to
clean the blockage as you may damage the hole
and make the appliance unsafe.
8.6
Re-fit the jet nipple and screw it tightly to ensure
a gas seal. Re-fit the cartridge by following the
description in section 3. For extra safety, check
the joint with warm soapy water. If bubbles appear,
the joint is not tight enough.
8.7
Screw burner back properly.
