Mounting the cylinder on extension
1- Tilt the extension rod back towards the legs on the front of the unit, and
pivot the cylinder upwards to attach it to the extension rod as shown in the
illustration;
2- Insert the 2 bronze bushings in the hole of the cylinder head, then insert
the M12 x 55 screw through the clevis of the extension, the bushings in the
cylinder head, the opposite clevis, and then fit the locking nut as shown in the
picture;
3- Tighten the bolt using two 19mm spanners. The aim is to make contact
with the clevises, but not to restrict the cylinder head.
Winch support assembly
1- Loosen and remove the M12 locking nut at the top of the column but
BE CAREFUL not to remove the screw that holds the spacer in place;
2- Position the Winch Support as shown in the picture;
3- Insert the M12 x 90 screws from above for the two bottom screws, and
from the side of the cylinder for the top ones;
4- Place the locking nuts on the screws and tighten them firmly. You can
make the spacer flush with the mast in order to give the product a
smoother appearance if you wish.
Winch assembly
Flat washer M8x18x1.5 zn white NFE
1- Place the winch on the mounting studs that protrude from the plate as
shown in the picture;
2- Place the washers and then the locking nuts onto the studs as shown in
the diagram, and tighten them firmly with the 13 mm spanner;
3- Wind the rope onto the winch without creating any overlap between two
layers.
