Fi h Wheel coupling
cannot be opened
2. Incorrect adjustment of the play of the King Pin coupling.
Ex: This can occur when changing the coupled semi-trailer
with a worn King Pin for one with a new King Pin

Cause
1. The skid plate should be at the same height or max. 50 mm lower than
the Fi h Wheel coupling
2. Replace the skid plate. Maximum permissible flatness devia on 2 mm
3. Replace the King Pin
4. Replace locking jaw
5. Ease the mechanism and grease it
6. Replace double spring
7. Replace/align lever and handle
8. Perform the adjustment of locking mechanism
1.1. Execute the uncoupling opera on in a flat surface
1.2. Try to move the tractor vehicle frontwards, releasing eventual tension
over the Fi h Wheel locking mechanism
2. Carry out the Fi h Wheel's adjustment procedure
