9. WASTE DISPOSAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Move battery from equipment; recycle battery, tool, accessory and package to kind of waster.
Remove the battery from the device and recycle the equipment, batteries, accessories
and packaging in an environmentally friendly manner.
Do not discard the battery in household waste, fire (danger of explosion) or water.
In case of the leakage of toxic gas or liquid, damaged battery may cause potential
environmental and personal health risk.
Before discarding the battery, please use up electricity. It is recommended to stick the two poles with
adhesive tape to prevent short circuit. Do not open the battery.
Dispose the battery according to local regulations. The battery shall be sent to a battery recycling station
for environmental-friendly recycling. For detailed information, please consult your local waste manage-
ment agency or our service center.
Dispose the pruned branches in the designated stacks. Don't dispose them with household waste.
10. STORAGE
The most important thing to keep in mind before storing the lithium-ion batteries in your scissors is to
make sure the batteries are fully charged and removed from the scissors. Storing the battery for long
periods of time with little or no charge will damage your battery.
1. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
2. Avoid storing the device in extremely hot or cold environments.
3. If the device is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery from the scissors
before storing.
4. Batteries and chargers should be placed in a safe place to prevent the ingress of heat, dust and
moisture, and check that the power switch is turned off.
5. The battery should be stored in a dry environment between 10ºC and 30º C.
6. The battery should be kept at a distance of at least 1.5 m from possible flammable substances.
7. For a good maintenance of the battery, recharge it completely before storing it.
8. When not in use, charge the battery at least once a month.
