6.1 Control unit and foot pedal

6 Cleaning and disinfection
product life is usually determined by damage, wear and tear caused by
usage.
Wipe dirty surfaces with an expendable cloth/ tissue paper.
No special requirements. Avoid lengthy waiting periods before preparation
because of danger of drying and corrosion.
Remove any surface soiling of the electronic motor with a disposable
towel. Unscrew motor cover and remove it with the cable.
Equipment: Cleaning/disinfection equipment with special load carrier,
which ensures the connection of the motors to the cleaning/disinfecting
equipment and the irrigation of the channels. Wash the electronic motor
from the front side. Use neutral cleaners as cleansing agents.
1) Load the electronic motor in the load carrier (irrigation of the channels
must be ensured).
2) Load Motor cover with cable in basket.
3) Set cleaning cycle with effectual rinsing and cleaning. Carry out rinse
cycle with demineralized water.
4) Rinse with demineralized water at 93°C for 10 minutes for thermal
disinfecting.
5) Check whether there is still visible dirt in the gaps when taking the
electronic motor and motor cover with cable out. If necessary repeat
cycle or clean manually.
