Defects due to the following are excluded from the guarantee:
Unusual ambient conditions:
➢ Installation in a place subject to sub-zero temperatures or bad weather.
➢ The supply of the appliance with rain water, well water, or water with particularly unusual aggressive
characteristics that does not comply with national regulations and applicable standards.
The hardness of the running water must be greater than 12°F.
The use of a water softener does not invalidate our guarantee as long as the softener has been calibrated
in accordance with the applicable regulations and is checked and serviced regularly. In this case, the
residual hardness of the water must be greater than 15°F.
➢ Water pressure higher than 4.5 bar.
➢ Various types of damage caused by knocks or falls during handling after the appliance has been
delivered.
➢ In particular, water damage that should have been prevented if the water heater had been repaired
immediately is excluded from the guarantee.
The guarantee applies only to the water heater and its components. The electrical and hydraulic systems
of the appliance and parts thereof are excluded.
➢ Electricity supply with significant power surges.
Any installation that does not comply with legislation, applicable national standards, and
regulations. In particular, this shall include the following:
➢ Absence or incorrect installation of the safety assembly.
➢ The installation of a safety assembly that does not comply with applicable national legislation or the use
of a worn safety assembly on a newly installed water heater.
➢ The adjustment of the safety assembly setting following tampering with the seal.
➢ The use of a support/tripod that has not been authorised by the manufacturer or that has not been
installed in accordance with the instructions in this manual.
➢ Unusual corrosion due to an incorrect hydraulic connection (direct contact between iron and copper),
absence of insulated fittings.
➢ Defective electrical connection that does not comply with applicable national installation regulations,
incorrect earthing, insufficient cable cross section, failure to respect the prescribed connection diagrams
etc.
➢ Starting up the appliance without filling it first (dry heating).
➢ Installation without a retention tank as recommended in the section on installation.
➢ Installation of the appliance in an excessively small space, inaccessibility of electrical parts.
➢ Use of spare parts that have not been authorised by the manufacturer.
Insufficient servicing. Your water heater must be serviced annually.
➢ Abnormal scaling of the heating elements and safety features.
➢ Failure to maintain the safety assembly, resulting in excess pressure.
➢ External attacks on the bodywork.
➢ Changes to the original equipment without the approval of the manufacturer; use of spare parts not
approved by the manufacturer.
➢ Failure to maintain the appliance and, in particular, failure to replace the anode in a timely fashion.
➢ Failure to replace the batteries of an appliance that uses batteries or replacement of rechargeable
batteries with batteries that do not comply with this instruction manual.
The guarantee is limited to the replacement or repair of the appliance and components that have been
deemed as originally faulty. If necessary, the part or product must be returned to one of our factories, but
