if you have followed the instructions contained in this manual but have difficulty in operating your unit, locate the SYMPTOM in the left column below.
Check the corresponding POSSIBLE CAUSE and CORRECTIVE ACTION columns to identify and remedy the problem.

Weak batteries
Replace the batteries with new ones. oe
The playback picture may be blurred or noisy
while the TV program received is clear. Dirt
accumulated on the head after long periods of
use causes this problem.
In this case, clean
the video head using a commercially available
video head cleaning tape.
When the cabinet has become dirty or stained,
dip a piece of gauze or soft cloth into a dilute
solution of neutral cleanser and wipe clean.
Never use thinners or benzine since they will
damage the surface of the cabinet.
1. To maintain the optimum performance of
this unit, regular periodic maintenance is
required.
Your dealer will advise you fur-
ther.
2. Maintenance and adjustments should not
be carried out by the user. In all cases of
difficulty or doubt, consult your dealer,
NOTE ON CONDENSATION
Moisture condensation may occur inside the unit when iti is moved from a cold place to a warm place, after heating a Gold room, ot under conditions
OF high humidity. If the tape is played back under these conditions, the unit and the tape may be damaged. Do not use the unit until it has. warmed
to''room:temperature and the moisture has evaporated completely in a well-ventilated area.
