2.1) Operating button
The tool is equipped with a safety system which prevents accidental start-up if the operating button
(3) is pressed unintentionally:
X Starting in stand-by, press the operating button twice (within one second) to activate the tool.
To restart the tool within 180 sec. of the last start-up, simply press it once.
This 'temporary' condition is especially useful when performing sequential compressions and
is indicated by the LEDs (2) remaining lit for 180 sec.
After 180 sec. of inactivity, the LEDs (2) will turn off and the operator must then press the button
twice to start the tool.

NOTE: The initial pulsating movement of the ram each time the tool is started with the LEDs off is
to be considered normal and is attributable to the self-diagnosis system.
2.2) Manual release button
When pressed, the release button (7) allows the ram to return to its initial position. As long as the
target symbol remains on the display

2.3) Display with OLED technology
The display wakes up when the tool is operated and switches off auto-
matically after 60 sec. if the tool is not used.
The screen is divided into two parts, separated by a vertical line, and
shows the following information:
X on the left, operational and informative data
X on the right, the compression result / any errors or malfunctions (section 5).
2.4) Capacitive touch button
The key is below the display and allows you to select the various screens (section 5). It only works
when the display is switched on. Simply touch it with bare hands (the use of gloves

or other objects may inhibit its operation).
Never apply any pressing force to the touch button;
