Dairy foods and eggs
• Most prepackaged dairy products have
a "use by /best before/best by/ date"
recommendation stamped on them.
Store them in the fridge and consume
them within the recommended time.

strong-smelling foods, so it is best to
store it in a sealed container.

Red meat
• Place fresh red meat on a plate and
wrap it with cling film or aluminum
foil.
• Store cooked and raw meat in separate

the cooked meat.
Poultry
• Completely fresh poultry should be
washed inside and out with cold water,
dried and placed on a plate. Wrap them
in cling film or aluminum foil.

never be stuffed until the moment
before it is cooked, otherwise the food
will lose quality.
Fish and seafood
• Whole fish or fish fillets should be eaten
the same day they are purchased. Until

on a plate covered with plastic film or

• If you are going to store fish for a long
time, you should buy fresh fish. Whole
fish should be washed with cold water
to remove loose scales and dirt and then
dried with kitchen paper. Store whole
fish or fillets in a sealed plastic bag.
• Keep seafood refrigerated at all times.
They should be consumed within 1 - 2
days.
Precooked foods and leftovers
• These should be stored in properly
covered containers so that the food
does not dry out.
• Keep them for 1-2 days maximum.
• Reheat leftovers only once.
Crisper drawer
• The vegetable drawer is the ideal
storage place for fresh fruits and
vegetables.
• Be careful not to store the following
products at temperatures below 7°C
for long periods of time: citrus fruits,
