WARNING
Read all safety precautions and instructions. Failure
to observe safety precautions and instructions may
lead to electric shock, fire and/or severe injury.
Keep all safety information and instructions for
future reference.
▸
Always wear safety glasses and hearing
protection. Wear sturdy shoes and a
dust protection mask. Wearing personal
protective equipment reduces the risk of injury.
▸
Accessories must be designed to with-
stand at least the speed specified on
the power tool. Side milling cutters or other
accessories running at overspeed can fly apart
and cause injuries.
▸
Always use a protective guard. A protec-
tive guard protects the user against broken parts
ejected from the side milling cutter and against
inadvertent contact with the cutter.
▸
Swarf or chips must not be removed while the
machine is running.
▸
Do not screw or rivet additional signs to the
motor, handle or gear.
▸
Pull out the mains plug during breaks, when not
using and before all work on the device, (e.g.
changing the tools, maintenance, cleaning,
settings).
▸
Always hold the connection cable away from
the cutting area of the machine. Always lead the
cable towards the rear of the machine.
▸
Only connect the machine to the socket when it is
switched off.
Intended use
The device is suitable for cutting jointing grooves
in solid wood, plywood, chipboard, fibre board
(MDF), acrylic glass and artificial marble.
Any other use or use beyond this scope is consid-
ered improper use.
The user is responsible for damage result-
ing from improper use.
Safety instructions
▸
If it is not safely positioned due to its own weight,
clamp the workpiece.
▸
Only use sharpened fault-free cutters, as other-
wise increased cutting forces will break up the
workpiece. Only use cutters suitable for manual
feeding.
▸
Do not brake cutters after switching them off.
▸
If the cutter is extended, the base plate must
not be clamped. Extension and retraction of the
cutter out of the base plate must function easily.
▸
Use only original Würth accessories.
