2
The vibration level has been measured with a
standardised measurement method in line with
EN 60745 and can be used to compare power
tools with each other. It is also suitable to assess the
load due to vibration.
The vibration level indicates the values for applica-
tions the power tool is predominantly used for. If
the power tool is used for other purposes, in com-
bination with other tool inserts, the vibration level
can differ. the same applies in case of insufficient
maintenance.
This can increase the vibration load considerably
during the entire working period.
To assess the vibration load precisely, consider also
periods during which the device is switched of or
during which it is switched on but not in use. This can
reduce the vibration load considerably during the
entire working period.
Specify further safety precautions to protect
the operator from the vibration effects, such as:
Power tool and tool insert maintenance, measures to
keep the hands warm and workflow organisation.
