Dusts from materials such as lead-based coatings,
some wood species, minerals and metals can be
harmful to health. Touching or inhaling the dusts
can lead to allergic reactions and/or respiratory
disorders in the user or in persons in the vicinity.
Certain dusts such as oak or beech dust are
considered to be carcinogenic, particularly in
combination with additives for wood preserva-
tion (chromate, wood preservatives). Materials
containing asbestos may only be machined by
qualified persons.
— Use a dust extractor, if possible.
— Ensure good ventilation of the place of work.
— We recommend the wearing of a respirator with
filter class P2.
Observe the applicable regulations in your coun-
try for the materials to be machined.
The internal dust extraction prevents significant mess,
high dust levels in the breathing air and simplifies
disposal.
Only work with attached chip discharge adapter or
extraction adapter.

Regularly empty the dust bag so that dust capture
remains ensured.
For optimum dust extraction, use a vacuum cleaner.
Würth supplies suitable vacuum cleaners. The device
can be directly connected to the socket of a Würth
vacuum cleaner with automatic remote control. This
vacuum cleaner is started automatically when the
device is switched on.
