Safety
WARNING
Risk of fatal injury caused by electric shock
The seat unit contains the electrical components of the product.
> Switch off the product using the main switch before cleaning.
> Do NOT pour water over the seat unit.
> Do NOT allow water to get into the seat unit.
CAUTION
Health damage caused by ultraviolet light (UV-C)*
The product contains a UV-C light source that disinfects the ceramic. The UV-C light is
only active when seat and lid are closed. Looking into or touching the UV-C light
source while the function is active can cause eye damage or skin damage.
> If the UV-C light is active when seat and lid are open (status display (LED) and blue-
tooth display (LED) flash purple), close seat and lid immediately and contact
Duravit.
> Do NOT look directly at the UV-C light source.
> Do NOT touch the UV-C light source.

NOTE
Product damage due to incorrect cleaning and care
Incorrect cleaning agents, cleaning tools and cleaning equipment can damage the
surface and permanently discolor it.
> Only use cleaning agents and cleaning tools recommended by Duravit.
> Follow the cleaning agent manufacturer's instructions for use.
> Only use cleaning equipment that is intended for the application (NO high-pressure
washers or steam cleaning machines).
NOTE
Product damaged caused by spray mist
Spray can penetrate into very small openings and gaps and damage the surface.
> Spray the spray cleaner onto the cleaning cloth and not directly onto the product.
NOTE
Product damage caused by long cleaning intervals
If the cleaning is not carried out regularly enough, soiling may become more difficult
to remove.
> Regularly clean the surface and clean immediately if soiled.
