. This manual was written to help you get the best
use of your new winch and to use it in the most secure way.
PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE WINCH.

Description of the winches
The Portable Capstan Pulling/Lifting Winch
lifting objects at angles up to vertical. It is fitted with a rope grabbing
system that can maintain the load in position, and provide stop and
go operation.
THE ROPE GRABBING SYSTEM IS NOT DESIGNED TO STOP A FAST
MOVING LOAD OR TO LIFT PEOPLE.
The use of a lifting device implies serious risks of injuries, property
damage or even death.

Intended use
This user manual pertains to capstan winches used for pulling or
lifting purposes in the following variants:
- PCH1000: Gasoline-powered pulling/lifting winch
maximum lifting capacity: 250kg
- PCH2000: Gasoline-powered pulling/lifting winch
maximum lifting capacity: 450kg
- PCT1800: Electrically-powered pulling/lifting winch
maximum lifting capacity: 250kg
These winch models are intended exclusively for professional use
by competent individuals in accordance with local regulations. They
are suitable for trained operators for the following operations:
- Telecommunication infrastructure installation and maintenance
- Tower erection
- Power line and electrical distribution network maintenance
- Windmill maintenance
- Work at height
- Industrial construction sites
