STORAGE
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
•
Allow the equipment to cool completely before moving or storing it.
•
Clean the mower thoroughly before storing.
•
Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to ensure that the appliance is in safe operating
condition.
•
Please note that the equipment is not weatherproof and should not be stored in direct
sunlight. Always store the product in a clean, safe and dry place with temperatures between
0º and 45ºC.
•
To avoid loss of fuel during transport, the product should be secured in its normal operating
position with the fuel cap closed.
•
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight when placed in a vehicle. If left inside a closed vehicle for
many hours, the high temperatures could cause the fuel to evaporate, which could cause an
explosion.
•
For long periods of storage, store the machine without fuel. Stored fuels should be stabilised
with a stabiliser.
•
Completely drain the fuel tank and run it again until it stops, this will serve to remove all
traces of fuel and prevent carburettor problems in the future.
•
Check the collection basket frequently for wear and tear or damage.
•
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
•
Never store equipment where flammable materials, combustible gases or liquids, etc. are
present. To reduce the risk of fire, keep the machine clean by removing debris, oil and grease.
•
Have your mower thoroughly checked by an authorised service centre once a year.
•
Store the machine out of the reach of children.
