LIMBING AND BUCKING
• Don't saw above chest height.
• Always use both hands.
• Stay on the uphill side of logs.
• Don't let anyone hold wood for you to cut.
• Saw wrongly held too close to operator's body.
• Cutting while on a ladder is extremely dangerous because the ladder can slip and your control
of the chain saw is limited.
• Never operate chain saw without rope-harness on climbing a tree.
kWARNING
Do not put pressure on the saw when reaching the end of a cut. The pressure may cause the bar
and rotating chain to pop out of the cut or kerf, go out of control and strike the operator or some
other object. If the rotating chain strikes some other object, a reactive force may cause the moving
chain to strike the operator.
Limbing
• To make sure ground safety, doing work.
• When limbing, cut using a porting of the root of the guide bar. If the tip of the guide bar touches wood, the
guide bar kicks back in an instant.
• Bucking is the sawing of a log or fallen tree into smaller pieces.
• When you cut, wood cutting order considering to open cut.
