• Contact with the saw Chain can cause personal injury.
HOW TO AVOID THE HAZARD
• Wear gloves when you handle the saw chain.
• Always stop the engine before performing any of the following operations.
MOUNTING THE GUIDE BAR AND CHAIN
Chain tensioning mechanism interlocked with front hand guard (e-JUST).

WARNING
1. Make sure the chain brake is released. Refer to
"CHAIN BRAKE".
2. Unscrew the guide bar retaining nut and remove the
chain case. (refer to fig.2)
3. Attach the chain to the sprocket in the right direction
first, then fit it in the bar groove of the guide bar.
Ensure that the white cap on the body fits into the
bar hole provided for adjusting tension. (refer to fig.1)

4. Engage the rear part of the chain case with the hook
on engine case, and fit the tension adjuster into the
bar hole.
Reinstall the chain case on the engine case and
Screw on the guide bar retaining nut only finger tight.
