DEPENDING ON COUNTRY REGULATIONS, A SHIPPED
VEHICLE MIGHT HAVE IT'S THIRD GEAR DISABLED.
ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION
ACCELERATION – by turning the acceleration throttle towards the rider, the scooter will advance
forward.
DECELERATION – by releasing the acceleration throttle, the vehicle will start decelerating. To quicken
the process of deceleration, left and right brake levers should be used.
▶
JUMP FORWARD FASTER THAN THE USER INTENDS, CAUSING AN ACCIDENT.
▶
THE MAXIMUM TRAVEL SPEED DEPENDS ON THE REGULATIONS OF THE COUNTRY. BEFORE
RIDING, CHECK THE REGULATIONS IN YOUR COUNTRY.
caution
SUDDEN SIDE WINDS CAUSED BY OVERTAKING OR BEING OVERTAKEN BY LARGE VEHICLES,
LEAVING TUNNELS OR ARISING IN MOUNTAINOUS AREAS CAN ALSO WEAKEN THE ABILITY TO
CONTROL THE SCOOTER. REMEMBER TO REDUCE SPEED AND WATCH OUT FOR SIDE WINDS.
BRAKING
Braking of the scooter should be performed by equal usage of both brake levers simultaneously.
▶
AVOID ABUSING ONLY THE REAR BRAKE TO PREVENT STRAIN WHICH CAN WEAR IT DOWN
FASTER THAN INTENDED. THIS MIGHT RESULT IN EXTENDING BRAKING DISTANCE.
▶
BRAKING DURING TURNING MIGHT CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. BEFORE
TURNING, ALWAYS REDUCE THE VEHICLE SPEED BEFORE THE CURVE.
▶
RIDING ON THE PAVEMENT
When riding on the pavement, be sure to set the gear to (I). While the maximum speed allowed on
pavement depends on the regulations of the country, it should not exceed 1-6 km/h (1-4 mph). Before
attempting to ride on the pavement, double-check the regulations.
REVERSE RIDING
Riding in reverse requires increased concentration and caution. It is recommended that the speed
is kept to a minimum when riding in reverse. If you are riding in reverse the scooter will signal the
manoeuvre.
