REMOVING/INSTALLING THE
BLADE SHEATH (Fig. 4)

the blade.
1. The hedge trimmer is shipped with the blade sheath installed. Before use, slide the
blade sheath off along the blade ridge and remove it.
2. After using and before storing or transporting the hedge trimmer, clean the blade and
slide the blade sheath onto the blade, cover the entire length of the blade and make
sure that the open side is facing upward.
