TROUBLESHOOTING

Hedge trimmer
doesn't work.

56-VOLT LITHIUM-ION COMMERCIAL 21" EXTENDED POLE HEDGE TRIMMER — HTX5310-P/HTX5310-P-FC
The battery pack is not
attached to the hedge trimmer.
No electrical contact between
the hedge trimmer and
battery pack.
The battery pack charge is
depleted.
The battery pack is too hot.
See the chapter "Battery
High-temperature
Protection".
The hedge trimmer is
too hot. See the chapter
"Machine High-temperature
Protection".
The lock-off lever and trigger
switch are not depressed
simultaneously.
The blade is jammed.
The battery pack has
electronics error. See the
chapter " Battery Electronics
Error Protection ".
SOLUTION
◾
Attach the battery pack to the hedge
trimme.
◾
Remove the battery pack, check
contacts and reinstall the battery pack.
◾
Charge the battery pack.
◾
Remove the battery pack and cool the
battery pack until the temperature drops
below 152°F (67°C).
◾
Remove the battery pack and cool the
hedge trimmer until the temperature
drops below 176 °F (80 °C).
◾
Move the lock-off lever forward and
press the trigger switch at the same
time.
◾
Remove the battery pack from the
machine, remove the obstruction
carefully, then reinsert the battery pack
and restart the machine.
◾
Replace the battery pack or contact EGO
customer service center.
