5.4 Casting and Working
▷ Place the pin-mounted Giroform plinth plate on
the impression for checking.
The plate must be flush with the putty.

▷ Spray a separating agent on the impression,
then rinse.
▷ Mix super-hard plaster under vacuum in the cor-
rect mixing ratio.
▷ Apply plaster to the impression without bubbles
(use a vibrator).

▷ Once the teeth and preparation have been filled,
remove the impression carrier from the vibrator
and fill the impression with plaster up to the
edge.

NOTE:
Loosening of the pins.
▷ Do not place the plinth plate on the vibrator.
▷ Apply plaster to the retentions of the pins and
the contact surface of the plinth plate in the
area of the dental arch.
