Sawing the Model
First cut the dental arch in half and
remove one half. This allows for the other
cuts to be carried out without hindrance.
Damaging the opposite side of the dental
arch is basically ruled out.
▷ Place the trimmed dental arch back onto the
plinth plate without applying pressure.
Between the dental arch and the plinth plate a
gap of approx. 2 mm is visible resulting from the
plaster expansion. This enables the pins to be
seen when sawing.
▷ Clamp the plinth plate in the modelling table of
the DIACUT model saw (171800).
▷ Align the model table according to the saw cut
guide.

▷ Carry out the intended saw cut.
The linear expansion tension is released. The
segment falls back flush onto the plate.

▷ Clean all model segments and place them back
on the cleaned plinth plate without any gaps.
