Various fixing parts.
In the unlikely event of a missing part, please contact your dealer.
Raising the guide bar (figure A1 + E1 + W3 + W4)
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the cables are not pinched, squeezed, twisted or
overstretched when the guide bars are folded apart or collapsed! Always run
the cables along the outside of the bar connection. A damaged cable may
result in a technical defect of the device.
IMPORTANT
Avoid damage to the Bowden cables when collapsing or raising the guide
bars: do not bend or jam the Bowden cables.
Carefully take the mower out of the shipping box. Remove the packaging
material.
Open out the Z-shaped folded guide bar by pulling it upwards A1.
When the upper and lower sections of the guide bar are on the same level,
tighten the knurled nuts (1) firmly by hand E1.
Carefully pull back the guide bars and align the bore in the lower bar section
with the desired height adjustment notch in the holder W3. There are three
different bar height settings possible.
Front notch = steep bar setting (for taller users)
Rear notch = flat bar setting (for shorter users)
Use the same notch position in the holder on both sides.
Push the saucer-head screws (from the tool bag) through the lower section of
the guide bar W3 from the outside, then
1.
Place one washer on each between the lower section of the guide bar
and the holder.
2.
Also place the same washers on the insides of the holders.
3.
Followed by a spring washer.
4.
Tighten these in place on both sides with the knurled nuts.
5.
Remove the handle from the tool bag and place it on the holders W4.
Take the cylinder screws with the small washers on them and push them
through the handle and holder from above. From below, place one large
washer on each side and screw firmly into place with a safety nut.
IMPORTANT
Ensure that the structure is not under tension. If the parts are under tension,
this can lead to increased vibration values.
Adjusting the cutting height (figure I + I1)
Front wheel height adjustment
By means of a height adjustment lever (1) at the left front wheel, both front wheels
can be set I.
Set the height adjustment lever to the desired position.
Rear wheel height adjustment
By means of a height adjustment lever (2) at the left rear wheel, both rear wheels
can be set I.
Slightly lift the device by hand at the lower bar to unload the wheel.
Set the height adjustment lever to the desired position with the other hand.
CAUTION
When adjusting the cutting height, hold the adjusting lever as shown in figure
I1. This prevents hands from slipping during adjustment and injuries from
occurring.
NOTE
Set both levers to the same height, except for the two lowest cutting height
settings. In the two lowest cutting heights, set the rear lever one notch higher
than the front lever.
This setting enables optimum discharge of the cut material during mulching.
Start with a higher setting and lower it as necessary to prevent the grass from
being cut too short.
IMPORTANT
You should only use your mower at the lowest cutting height on even and flat
lawn surfaces!
Please note that the lower cutting height settings are only to be used under
optimum conditions. If your selected cutting height is too low, the sward may
be damaged and even destroyed.
In addition to the cutting height, the driving speed also influences the cutting
pattern. Adjust the cutting height and the driving speed to the grass height to
be cut; do not switch on the autodrive, if applicable.
Setting the bar height (figure
NOTE
There are three different bar height settings possible.
Loosen the knurled nuts until the bar can move freely. Only loosen them to the
extent necessary to prevent the screws from coming out of the square in the bar.
1.
Take hold of the holder bar and the lower section of the bar and push both
forwards until the screws come free of the notch.
2.
Move the bar forwards or backwards until you find the desired position.
3.
Take hold of the holder by the bar and, together with the handlebar, pull it
backwards until the screws click into the new position.
Tighten the knurled nuts once more. Use the same position in the holder on both
sides.
IMPORTANT
When adjusting the handlebar height using the holder, only loosen the nuts to
the extent necessary to allow the bar to move freely during this task.
This prevents the bar from folding over unintentionally and crush points
between the lower part of the bar and the housing are avoided.
Inserting the charged battery (figure V1)
The handling of the charger and battery/batteries is
described
instructions. In particular, read and follow the safety
information! Charge the battery/batteries completely
before initial use!
We recommend that you use two batteries with the same capacity, with at
least 7.5 Ah (ideally 12.0 Ah) and the same level of charge.
If only one battery is used or batteries with less than 7.5 Ah capacity, only
80% of the motor power is available.
Open the battery cover and hold it open.
