7.4 Explanations regarding recurring
tests and inspections
Please note that the transport approval for all
combination IBCs with a plastic inner tank for diesel
is limited to 5 years. After this period, the inner
tank for diesel must be replaced. We offer you this
tank replacement service incl. test certificate in
accordance with the ADR.
Regarding the DT-Mobil PRO Hybrid
approval D/BAM 15151 with 8 years validity, see
also "Availability of use". (section 12.2.1)
In addition, in accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b),
the filling station must undergo inspection to the
satisfaction of the responsible authority at intervals
not exceeding two and a half years with regard to
the external condition and proper functionality of
the operating equipment.
In accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.2, all metal IBCs
for the transportation of liquids must be subjected
to an initial leak test (i.e. before the IBC is first
used for transport), after repair and at intervals not
exceeding two and a half years.
