Application
Siedle Touch 10 for Siedle Steel.
Control panel (25.7 cm/10.1") for
door communication and access
control in conjunction with the
Siedle Vario bus.
It can be used in the In-Home bus or
Access Professional system.
In conjunction with the In-Home
bus, can only be used with the
BIM 650-... bus interface module.
Depending on the functional scope
of the access control and the
intercom system, further devices are
required for management and con-
trol functions.
Electrical voltage
Mounting, installation and servicing
work on electrical devices may only
be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician.
Preparation
• During installation, if necessary,
the Vario bus address must be
changed using the rotary switch and
other functions must be activated via
the DIL switch and slide switch.
• The rotary switch, the DIL switch
and the LEDs for the status display
are located behind the Siedle Steel
operating level on the ST 10-01-
frame (device front/operating side)
under the white protective sleeve
next to the additional loudspeaker.
• The "IN" slide switch is located on
the interface circuit board, which is
on the rear of the ST 10-01 device.
• Information regarding mounting
and removal of the operating panel
and function units can be found in
the product information for the door
station.
1 Address setting (Vario bus)
If an ST(E) 10-... is to be operated
with a COM ... (code lock module)
and/or DRM ... (display call module)
on the same Vario bus line, then a
different Vario bus address must be
set for each device. This also applies
if several ST(E) 10-... are to be oper-
ated on a Vario bus line.
The address can be set from 1 to 8
and may only be used once in any
one system.

Operating mode of the
„IN"
E/G input:
• Switch position „ext":
Electrically isolated input
• Switch position „int":
Potential-free input
DIL switch 1: Evaluation of the
E/G input (external message)
• OFF (default): Trigger function in
the ST(E) 10-... (e.g. idle screen):
A button or actuator can then be
used at the E/G input so that an
action can be triggered on the
ST(E) 10-... (e.g. external movement
sensor module for motion-controlled
activation of the control panel, or
call user via external button).
• ON: Trigger function via the Vario
bus (e.g. door release last door, call
to user): If you want to be able to
use the E/G input, for example, with
an external button to trigger the
function, then DIL switch 1 must be
set to ON.
DIL switch 2: Parallel operation
• If another ST(E) 10-01 is to be
operated on a ST 10-01 with a door
loudspeaker (ATLM 670/671-...
or SBTLM 651-...), then parallel
operation must be activated on both
ST(E) 10-01 (DIL switch 2 set to ON).
• If a status display (ZAM 670-... or
ZAM 600-...) is to be operated on a
ST 10-01 with a door loudspeaker
(ATLM 670/671-... or
SBTLM 651-...), then parallel
operation must be activated on the
ST 10-01 (DIL switch 2 set to ON).
Mounting
Recommended mounting height
approx. 1.40 m to centre of display
(depending on the local/on-site
requirements/conditions).
Avoid direct sunlight/prolonged
exposure to heat: If devices are
exposed to direct sunlight for a pro-
longed period of time, the device's
surface temperature or the tempera-
ture inside the device may exceed
the maximum permitted ambient
temperature for operation and cause
a device failure or damage to the
device. Observe the permissible tem-
perature range.
When mounting, consider the
lighting conditions, as these can
affect the legibility of the panel:
• Direct backlight
• Direct sunlight
• Reflective surfaces
• Direct light sources such as spot-
lights
Connection system
The connection to the Siedle
intercom system used (In-Home bus
or Access Professional) takes place
via the connection pcb in the door
station.
In the case of surface-mounted
door stations, the connection pcb
is located behind the door loud-
speaker.
Information about the wiring
diagrams
a) A network cable must be laid
without fail from the door station to
the distributor for configuration.
b) Terminals E and G can be option-
ally used for integrating buttons or
actuators provided by the customer
for expanding the function of the
