1.3 Install the Branching Cable

Turn over the splice tray and remove the cable clamp from the tray
(Figure 1-13).

Strip the branching cable to a suitable length of ≥4 ft. (1.2 m) (Figure 1-14).

Cut the strength member of the cable from the stripped cable sheath 2.4 in.
(60 mm) to fix the cable (Figure 1-15).
