• Release the operator (Fig.34).
• Loosen, by a few millimetres the fi xing screws of the
protective casing of the operator (Fig.12 A) and remove
the casing (Fig.12 B).
• Position the operator (Fig.13 B) on the fi xing plate
(Fig.13 C) and anchor in place using the supplied
nuts and washers (Fig.13 A). Adjust the height with
respect to the ground with a lock nut.
• Tighten the nuts using a socket spanner.
5.1.2 Fixing with screw anchors
If an area of good firm cement has already been
prepared where the operator is to be fi xed and if this
area is also suffi ciently level then the operator can be
directly fi xed to the terrain using SCREW ANCHORS
FOR COMPACT MASONRY (Use Fischer S 10 RS 100
screw anchors, or equivalent).
Warning
•
The operator must be well aligned to the sliding
gate and at a correct distance from the resting
surface of the rack (Fig.14).
•
Use all the fi xing points (three slots) to ensure
that the operator is firmly anchored to the
terrain.
• Use a pencil to mark the position of the three slots
on the anchoring surface (Fig.15).
• Place the operator in a sheltered place away from
dust.
