Transport

Immediately on receipt check the product for damage in transport. If the product is damaged, do not install or commission
it.

Transporting to the place of installation
The net weight is high – risk of injury if it is lifted improperly.

Wear foot protection and safety gloves.

Make sure the paths for movement and transport are clear.

Ensure during movement and transport that all drawers and cupboard doors are closed and locked.

At least two persons must be employed to transport it to the installation location.

Damage to transport items.

Do not drag them across the floor.

When items of packaging are being transported they must be upright, secured with ropes and protected against slip-
ping.

When putting them down, do so slowly and evenly.

Do not remove the transport packaging until immediately before installation.

6.1.
ASSEMBLING HEIGHT GAUGE HG1

1. Take the control panel (2) and data cable (3) out of the transport box.
2. Take the column for height gauge HG1 (1) out of the transport box and unpack it.
3. Insert the standard holder for measuring probes so that it is turned 180° upwards.

4. Unscrew the fixing screw for the measurement slide (10 a).
5. Move the measurement slide upwards on the positioning handle (10 b) and secure its height.
6. Turn the standard holder for measuring probes downwards 180° (10 c).

7. Unscrew the fastening screws on the safety bar and remove the safety bar (11).
8. Insert the blind caps (9) (11 d).
9. Unpack the power supply unit (7).

10. Connect the rechargeable battery. See Replacing the rechargeable battery [} Page 25].
11. Use the cheese-head screws (6) to secure the control panel (2) to the carrier (12).
12. Connect the control panel (2) to height gauge HG1 using the connecting cable (3).
