Shortening the ceiling rod
Loosen the fastening screw of the connector socket.
Using pliers on the inner ring, pull the connector socket
completely out of the ceiling rod with the cable.
Before shortening the ceiling rod, remove the cable from
the ceiling rod.
Shorten the upper end of the ceiling rod to the desired
length with a hacksaw and deburr it.
Remove fixing screw "C".
Insert the ceiling rod "A" into the ceiling bracket "B" and
drill through the existing hole in the ceiling bracket with
d= 9mm. Drill the opposite hole separately.
Note: After sawing and drilling, pull the cable through
from the bottom side of the rod to the top side of the rod

Ceiling bracket installation
DANGER
Installation by qualified personnel
Installation may only be carried out by a qualified
specialist. Without the appropriate knowledge, life-
threatening dangers may present themselves.
Two people are required for the installation
DANGER
Life-threatening danger from falling light.
The ceiling mount may only be attached to ceilings
with a concrete strength class of B25 (C20/25)
or greater.
Reinforcement parts of the solid floor must not come
into contact. In case of doubt, a licensed specialist
must confirm the installation on the respective
installation base. The load-bearing capacity of the
ceiling construction must first be planned, checked
and confirmed by a structural engineer.
The drilling must be carried out professionally in
compliance with the drilling tolerances approved by
the manufacturer of the fastening anchor. In the event
of incorrect drilling - for example when drilling into
a rebar - a structural engineer must be called in.
Install the light in such a way that the height stops are
not permanently stressed during operation.
In the case of plaster or cladding coating the concrete,
the fastening anchor must be driven completely into
the concrete.
The screws must be carefully tightened using a torque
spanner according to the manufacturer's instructions
for the fixing anchors.
DANGER
Danger to life through an electric shock.
The mains cable must be disconnected from the
mains at all poles by an external lockable switch and
secured against being switched on again.
Draw in 6 drilling marks.
Note the position of the opening "A" for the purpose
of power connection
