• WARNING: do not use the appliance without the air intake filter fitted. If dust, hairs
and other dirt are sucked in because the filter is not in place, the hair dryer may
malfunction.
IMPORTANT
This hairdryer conforms to the safety regulations regarding electrical appliances.
This hairdryer has a safety cut-out which will operate in case of overheating. The dryer will re-set itself after being left to
cool for a few minutes, but please check air inlet and outlet grills are perfectly clean before continuing to use the dryer.

Setting the appliance's temperature and air flow – Dual
Setting
The Dual Setting function enables selection of 2 different
temperature and air speed configurations.
- CARE: 9 temperature/air flow combinations for fine, delicate
hair.
- MAX: 9 temperature/air flow combinations for strong, coarse
hair.
To select the combination, set the switch (fig.9) on the setting
required (I CARE or II MAX)
The setting LEDs (fig. 8 and 10) show the level selected:
- I CARE → green LED
- II MAX → white LED
COLD function
This function is used to set the hair style after styling. Press the
button (7, fig. 1).
Memory function
With this function, when the appliance is switched off the last
temperature and air flow combination setting is saved and set
again at the next switch-on.
ABT - Air Boost Technology
This boosts the air flow to improve the appliance's styling
performance. When using the hair dryer, take care not to
obstruct the air intake holes in its casing (16, fig. 1).
Dirty filter alert function (If included in purchased model)
After 20 hours of use, the LED (8, fig.1) turns orange and starts
to blink (fig. 2). This alerts the user that automatic cleaning of
the filter is required.
Automatic filter cleaning function (If included in purchased
model)
The hair dryer has a function which cleans the filter automatically
by reversing the appliance's air flow direction.
WARNING: remove any accessories (nozzles, diffuser, etc.)
from the appliance before activating the automatic cleaning. Do
not obstruct the filter at the rear or the air outlet grille. When
cleaning the filter, keep the hair dryer well away from dust, hairs
or other materials, as the appliance will be damaged if dirt is
sucked in.
Proceed as follows:
If off, switch the appliance on
- Hold down the button (8, fig. 2) for at least 2 sec. (fig. 3). The
cleaning system is activated automatically
- During the reverse of the air flow (fig. 4) the LED (8, fig.3)
shines orange without blinking.
- Once the cleaning cycle is completed, the LED (8, fig.2) turns
green for 2 seconds and then goes out.
Cleaning the filter (by hand)
To remove dust and hairs from the inside and outside of the filter,
remove it (13, fig. 5) and brush it thoroughly with the provided
brush (14, fig. 6).
The filter can also be washed in running water.
WARNING:
- after washing the filter, make sure it is perfectly dry
before fitting it back on the hair dryer. (fig. 7)
- do not use the appliance without the air intake filter fitted.
If dust, hairs or other impurities are sucked in because
the filter is not in place, this may cause hair dryer
malfunctions.
