maintenance processes:
• Washing machine body: After washing,
clean it with a soft cloth. If there is a lot
of dirt, use the appropriate detergent or
soap. Do not use gasoline or alcohol to
clean the body of the washing machine.
If water overflows, wipe up immediately
with a dry cloth.
• Clean the drain pump (see picture 14 on
page 9):
• Using a tool such as a coin, open the
filter cover in the direction shown in
the diagram (Fig.1).
• Unscrew the filter, paying attention to
the remaining water, and remove any
foreign matter from the drain pump
filter (Fig.2).
• Refit the filter (fig.3).
• Clean the inlet filter (see picture 15 on
page 9): The inlet strainer should be
cleaned if there is no or insufficient
water when the tap is opened.
• Reduce the water pressure:
• Turn off the tap.
• Select any wash cycle except Spin.
• Press the start/pause button and let
the cycle run for about 40 seconds.
• Unplug the machine.
• Remove the inlet hose from the tap.
• Rinse the filter with water.
• Reconnect the inlet hose.
• Clean the detergent drawer (see Figure
16 on page 9): Clean the detergent
drawer periodically. Remove it, wash
it in clean water and replace it. The
structure of the detergent drawer varies
depending on the model of washing
machine; to clean it, follow the steps
and methods shown in Fig.1 for an
automatic dispenser drawer and Fig.2
for a conventional detergent drawer.
• Cleaning the drum :
• Suggestion: once a month.
• After using it for a period of time, some
dirt may remain. You should clean the
inside and outside of the drum.
• Caution: do not insert laundry or
detergent into the washing machine
while cleaning the drum.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Sometimes you will be able to solve
yourself some failures happening to your
appliance by using the Problem-Solution
table included in this manual (see table 06
on page 19) Otherwise, please contact our
Customer Care service.
You can also see table 05 on page 16 to find
some problems you may find which do not
mean a failure of the appliance.
If you notice a failure which you cannot
repair yourself and prevents you from
using the appliance, disconnect it from the
power and the mains.
Any intervention to repair or
replace any electrical wiring
must be carried out by a
qualified technician, otherwise
it can be very dangerous.
If the washing machine freezes
The washing machine may freeze if left in
a place where the temperature drops below
0°C:
• Switch off the washing machine and
unplug the power cord.
• Run warm water through the tap to
loosen the water hose.
• Disconnect the water hose and immerse
it in lukewarm water
• Pour warm water into the drum
and leave for about 10 minutes.
Reconnect the water hose to the tap.
