Manumed RFX
Intended purpose
Manumed RFX is a wrist brace for immobilizing the wrist in
at least two directions of mobilisation.
Indications
All indications which require the wrist to be immobilised
for at least two directions of mobilisation whilst
maintaining free finger movement, such as:
• Immobilisation after distorsions
• Tendonitis and / or tenosynovitis
• After distal radius fracture (nonsurgical, postoperative)
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
• Postoperative after triangular fibrocartilage complex
repair
• Guyon's canal syndrome
Contraindications
Unstable fractures of the hand.
Risks / Side Effects
If the aids are too tight, this can cause pressure sores or
constriction of blood vessels or nerves. Consult your doctor
before using this device if you have the following
conditions:
• A condition affecting the application area
• Paraesthesia, circulatory disorders
• Lymph drainage disorders
Tightly fitting aids can cause skin irritation (pressure,
sweat, material).
Intended users and patient target groups
Healthcare professionals and patients, including persons
