SERVICE AND REPAIRS

All quality power tools will eventually require servicing or
replacement of parts because of wear from normal use. To
assure that only authorized replacement parts will be used
and that the double insulation system will be protected,
all service (other than routine maintenance) must be
performed by an AUTHORIZED metabo HPT POWER
TOOL REPAIR CENTER ONLY.
● To avoid injury from an accidental start, turn the switch OFF and remove the plug from the power source
or remove the battery or AC/DC adapter from the main body before making any adjustments.
● All electrical or mechanical repairs should be done only by qualifi ed service technicians. Contact
metabo HPT Authorized Service Center.

WARNING
Possible Cause
No remaining battery power.
The battery is not fully installed.
Tool was overburdened.
The battery is overheated.
The motor was automatically stopped to
prevent failure of the tool.
The clamp lever has not been loosened.
Set pin (A) has not been pulled out.
The clamp lever has not been loosened.
The sawblade is worn down or missing
teeth.
Bolt is loose.
The sawblade has been installed in reverse. Install the sawblade in the correct direction.
NOTE
Specifi cations are subject to change without any
obligation on the part of metabo HPT.
Charge the battery.
Insert the battery into the tool until you hear
a click.
Get rid of the problem causing the
overburden.
Let the battery cool down.
This is not a malfunction.
The trigger switch was held down for
5 minutes or more.
Switch on the power once more.
Loosen the clamp lever and then tilt the
tool.
After adjusting the loosened component,
make sure to tighten it once again.
Tilt to the right after pulling out set pin (A).
Loosen the clamp lever and then tilt.
Exchange with a new product.
Tighten the bolt.
