Checking battery level
Be sure to turn off the camera when not in use to conserve the battery.

Turn the camera on. Check the LCD panel.

blinks, the battery is low and
should be replaced as soon as possible.
If the LCD panel remains blank, the bat-
tery is exhausted or not installed cor-
rectly.
PREPARATIONS
Note: Be sure to turn off after use to
conserve the battery.
If
the camera is
not used for about three minutes, the
power wil l automatically shut off and
the lens wi ll retract into the camera
body. Do not touch the lens as it re -
tracts.
