When the Meter is in the DWELL mode, press the
DWL button again or the % DUTY button to return to
the previous mode where the Meter was just before
entering into the DWELL mode.
Press any other button to exit the DWELL mode.
When the Meter is in the function Ω
DWL
button to select the continuity test mode. A
continuity test verifies that you have a closed circuit.
The continuity test function detects opens or shorts of
as little as 100 milliseconds. In the 4K range resistances
of less than 100 cause the beeper to sound. This can
be a valuable troubleshooting aid when looking for
intermittents associated with connection, cables,
relays, switches, etc.

the DUTY-CYCLE, PULSE-WIDTH, Frequency (Hz)
or DWELL mode; Adjusts 7 Steps Trigger Level]
When the Meter is in DUTY-CYCLE, PULSE-WIDTH,
Frequency (Hz) or DWELL mode, press the ± TRIG
button down for 2 seconds to toggle between a
negative (-) and positive (+) trigger slope. The change
in the trigger slope is indicated by a + or - slope
shown at the lower left corner of the display. The
Meter defaults to a "-" trigger slope. Once the trigger
slope is selected, press the ± TRIG button repeatedly
to adjust trigger level if the Meter reading is too high
or unstable.
• The Trigger level has Seven steps and is different for
each function combination. Press the ±TRIG button
to move one step at a time for selecting a suitable
trigger level.
• The bar graph is a good indication of the Trigger
Level. (Table 1)

Press the DC/AC button to toggle between DC and AC
when measuring volts (except mV) or Amperes. When
AC is selected, the "AC" symbol is displayed.
Press the °C/°F button to toggle between °C and °F
when measuring temperature.
When the Centigrade scale is selected, the "°C"
symbol is displayed and when the Fahrenheit scales
is selected, the "°F" symbol is displayed on the LCD.
