Operation of STIHL HL-0° and
HL-0° - 90°/135° hedge cutter
attachments is permitted only with the
following basic power tools:
STIHL FC 83, STIHL FC 85,
STIHL FC 110, STIHL FH 75,

STIHL HL 73 K, STIHL HL 75,

Loop-handled machines must be
equipped with a barrier bar before
using hedge cutter attachments with
a 0° - 90°/135° cutter bar.
Other combinations of the
attachment and non-approved
power tools are not permitted since
they may result in accidents or
serious personal injury.

Mounting the Attachment

Preparations
:
Loosen the clamp screws on the
basic power tool's gearhead and
pull the gearhead off the drive tube.
The drive shaft may slip out of the
tube in this process. If this happens,
push the drive shaft back into the
tube.
The drive shaft must not project from the
tube more than L = 0.9" (22 mm). If
necessary, apply slight pressure to the
drive shaft and rotate it slowly at the
same time until it can be pushed in to the
required length.
