Operating Elements and Connections
1.1 Rear panel
1 Locking screws for the lamp compartment cover
2 Setscrews for the mounting bracket (3)

4 Mains jack for connection to a socket (230 V~/
50 Hz) via the supplied connection cable
5 Bracket for the mains fuse
Only replace a blown fuse by one of the same
type.
6 DIP switches Nos.1 to 9 for adjusting the DMX
start address (→ chapter 6.3) and for selecting
the master/slave operation;
DIP switch No.10 for the selection of the operating
mode in the slave operation (→ chapter 6.1.1)
7 LED ON (red) as a power indication
8 LED MODE (green) flashes with DMX signal
received or lights up during master operation
9 DMX signal input (3-pole XLR);
1 = ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
10 DMX signal output (3-pole XLR) for connection
to the DMX input of another light effect unit;

The remote control is available as an accessory and
is not supplied with the LE-125DMX.

Hinweis: Zur Steuerung über die Fernbedienung
darf am Eingang DMX IN (9) kein DMX-Signal an -
liegen.

Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät entspricht allen erforderlichen Richtli-
nien der EU und ist deshalb mit
WARNUNG Das Gerät wird mit lebens gefährlicher
Netzspannung

Nehmen Sie deshalb niemals selbst
Eingriffe am Gerät vor, die nicht in die-
ser Anleitung beschrieben sind und
ste cken Sie nichts durch die Lüftungs -
öff nungen! Es besteht die Gefahr
eines elektrischen Schlages.
Beachten Sie auch unbedingt die folgenden Punkte:

Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im In nenbereich
und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser,
hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze (zu lässiger Ein-
satztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).

Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gefäße,
z. B. Trinkgläser, auf das Gerät.
●
Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb und zie hen
Sie sofort den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose,

Safety Notes
This unit corresponds to all required directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with
WARNING The unit is supplied with hazardous
mains voltage (230 V~). Never make
any modification not described in this
instruction manual and do not insert
anything through the air vents! This
may cause an electric shock hazard.
It is essential to observe the following items:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).
●
Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g.
drinking glasses, on the unit.
●
Do not set the unit into operation, and immediately
disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket if
1. there is visible damage to the unit or to the
mains cable,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or
similar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The unit must in any case be repaired by skilled
personnel.

üb liches Glasreinigungsmittel verwendet werden.

Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig
montiert, falsch bedient oder nicht fachgerecht re -
pa riert, kann keine Garantie für das Gerät und
keine Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder
Personenschäden übernommen werden.

Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Das Lichteffektgerät LE-125DMX ist besonders für
eine effektvolle Beleuchtung auf der Bühne und in
Diskotheken geeignet. Es projiziert blaue und grüne,
wellenförmige Lichtmuster, deren Bewegung in der
Geschwindigkeit variiert. Die Steuerung des Gerä-
tes kann über das integrierte Mikrofon, über die
Fernbedienung LC-3 (separat als Zubehör erhält-
lich) oder über ein DMX-Lichtsteuergerät er folgen.
●
Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket, always seize
the plug.
●
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never use
chemicals or water. For the optical parts a com-
mercial detergent for glass may be used.
●
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the unit is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
correctly mounted, operated, or not repaired in an
expert way.

The wires in this mains lead are coloured in ac -
cord ance with the follow ing code:
green/yellow = earth
blue = neutral

brown = live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifying the terminals in your plug,
proceed as follows:
1. The wire which is coloured green and yellow
must be con nected to the terminal in the plug
which is mark ed with the letter E or by the earth
symbol
low.
2. The wire which is coloured blue must be con -
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
3. The wire which is coloured brown must be con -
nected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
Warning – This appliance must be earthed.
If the unit is to be put out of operation de -
finitively, take it to a local recycling plant for
a disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.
