5.2 POWER SUPPLY


Battery: Alkaline 9 V (type 6 LR 61)

Service life: 70 H typical

Consumption: 6 mA typical

Low battery indicator : light goes out for a battery voltage < 6,5 V

6.1 BATTERY CHECK

If the switch is not on the OFF position and the indicator light is unlit, this indicates that the
voltage of the battery is too low. It is thus necessary to change the battery.

6.2 CHANGING THE BATTERY


The clamp must be completely disconnected before changing the battery and it must not
enclose any conductor.

Check that the switch is in the OFF position.

Undo the tool-release screw at the back of the clamp and slide the cover into the handle
extension.

Connect up the battery (9 V alkaline battery), then replace the cover.
